Chelsea were held to a 2-2 draw by Hull City in an entertaining Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors capitalised on defensive lapses from the hosts to maintain their unbeaten start to the season, while Chelsea were left to rue missed opportunities to claim all three points.
Chelsea made the perfect start when a swift counter-attack from a Hull City corner saw Morgan Rogers race forward before firing past Konstantinos Tzolakis at his near post.
Hull responded in the 28th minute, with Mohamed Belloumi taking advantage of poor defending from Jorrel Hato to level the score.
Belloumi struck again just six minutes later, completing his brace and putting Hull in front.
Chelsea fought back after the break and restored parity shortly after the hour mark when Joao Pedro finished from close range after being set up by Cole Palmer.
Both sides had late opportunities to snatch victory. Rogers and Mohamed-Ali Cho were presented with golden chances, but both fired straight at the respective goalkeepers when they appeared certain to score.
In the end, neither side could find a winner as Chelsea and Hull City settled for a share of the spoils.
