One way to enjoy marital fun is through sex. It should not be monotonous, but exciting—something couples should look forward to. It is amazing to realise that husbands and wives complain of sexual boredom. The only reason I can think of as a factor is a lack of fun in sex. I remember now that some people call engaging in sexual intercourse “having fun”.
Fun is something hilarious, exciting, and satisfying. So, couples should get creative in making fun out of sex. This will create great enjoyment in marriage.
To have sexual fun, couples will have to spice up their sex life by using the following approaches:
Masculine and Feminine sexual turn on
Husbands and wives need to understand what turns a man on for s3x, and vice versa. These turn-ons are basically visual and verbal. Knowledge of this will prepare a couple for s3xual fun. Since men are visually moved for s3x, a wife will do their marriage a lot of s3xual good by wearing skimpy dresses in the home, especially in the bedroom, or when they are at home alone.
This must be a deliberate act to get s3xual attention from the husband. Without the inners, she should bend down to pick objects in front of the husband. Just allow your imagination to run wild on the outcome of such an act.
Likewise, a husband should verbally assault his wife for s3x in house, standing on the existing protocol of being alone. He should tell her how seductive she looks, how irresistible she appears, and how appealing her body features look—the front, back, face, lips, eyebrows, etc. All these make the wife feel conquered or chased by him, which is every woman’s joy.
Sexual varieties approach
This entails using different types of s3x styles as opposed to the monotonous traditional missionary style. Using different types of sex styles creates great fun for sex. By now, regular readers of this column should have many sex styles at the tips of their fingers. With this approach, s3xual boredom is reduced to the minimum.
Location’s variety approach.
This is to say that the bedroom and bed are not the only places for s3x to happen. Traditionally, marital sex was made to happen only in the bedroom and on the bed. But experience has shown that great sex still happens outside the bedroom and on the bed.
Spicing up the sex life in marriage has taken s3x to the sitting room, on the couch, kitchen, on the cabinet, dining room, and on the chair. In fact, for the married, every place in the house, once privacy is guaranteed, is good for s3x to happen.
The beauty of it is that it kills boredom in the marriage, bringing in great fun. So, approaching marital s3x from the location angle is great fun for a couple.

Timing approach
S3x at night was a common practice for the married. This was coming from the angle of play after work. So, when couples retired to bed at night, they went for ‘play’. However, the tiredness complaint of wives makes this timing a wrong one. The truth is that after all the day’s hurly-burly at work, cooking at home and other household chores, sex at such hours could make for frustration for the wives. Of course, the husbands don’t have any issue with it because he’s wired to be ready for s3x anytime. He takes off like a helicopter, needing no taxing. But, for the wives, she needs to be prepared for take-off, like an aeroplane.
Therefore, marital s3x now happens at other ‘odd’ hours of the traditional practice. So, break time s3x now happens, especially for Nigerians living abroad on live-in jobs. Also, s3x in the morning is gaining ground as well among the married. All these are reasons for great s3x fun as opposed to boredom in the marriage.
Getaway holiday approach
This means creating fun by spending time alone in a quiet place. This can be a hotel, resort centre, country home, etc. It can be likened to “Home Alone” by the couple. This holiday period of Easter celebration is a good time for such a getaway experience. It’s always great fun being alone in the company of your spouse. No distractions of any form.
