Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has once again raised the bar for African music, becoming the artist from the continent with the most appearances on the prestigious US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
His latest feature on WGFT, a track from American rapper Gunna’s new album The Last Wun, debuted at number 96 this week, pushing Burna Boy’s Billboard Hot 100 entries to seven.

The Last Last crooner has also achieved another landmark as the first African act to secure Billboard Hot 100 debuts for five consecutive years, from 2021 through 2025.
Burna Boy first entered the chart in 2021 with Loved By You, a collaboration with Canadian pop star Justin Bieber. He later scored his first solo entry in 2022 with Last Last, which climbed to number 44.
Beyond the US, Burna Boy has set additional records, including the most entries for an African artist on the UK Singles Chart with 26, and on the Canadian Hot 100 with 11.
