These activities are not merely ceremonial; they constitute part of a broader contest for influence within an increasingly multipolar global landscape. As international powers navigate ongoing conflicts in Europe and the Middle East, Africa and Eurasia have emerged as vital arenas for economic, security, and political interests. The discreet diplomacy progressing in these regions is reshaping alliances and redefining the global distribution of power.

The diplomatic activity across Africa and Eurasia is driven by overlapping strategic interests.
