Nollywood actress Omeche Oko has shared how she survived a serious motorcycle accident that occurred while filming a movie scene in Lagos, just days before her birthday.
The actress posted a video of the incident on her Instagram page on Wednesday, showing how the crash unfolded on set.
In the footage, Oko was acting alongside her colleague Victory Michael, who was riding the motorcycle when it suddenly collided with a pole during the shoot.
The crash left Victory Michael briefly unconscious after hitting his chest on the pole, while Oko sustained a fractured leg.
Prompt News reports Members of the film crew quickly intervened and rushed both actors to an undisclosed medical facility for treatment.
Recounting the frightening experience, Oko described life as unpredictable and urged appreciation for actors who often take risks for their craft.

She wrote, “Life is very very fragile. It could have been a different story but God said No. If you see an actor today, give them a hug. We take a lot of risks for the craft. All I can say is thank you God.”
Her post attracted an outpouring of love from colleagues including Mofe Duncan, Chinenye Nnebe, Chizzy Alichi Mbah, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, Nosa Rex, Chidi Dike, Toniala Aladese, Doris Ifeka, Onyi Alex, as well as producers Uche Nancy and Toyosi Etim Effiong, who all sent messages of support.
