Comoros have unveiled a 22-player squad for their crucial two-legged 2028 Olympic Games qualifying tie against Nigeria’s Super Falcons.
The squad, announced on Wednesday, comprises three goalkeepers, five defenders, seven midfielders and seven forwards as the island nation prepares for a challenging encounter with the 10-time African champions.
Comoros will face Nigeria in a two-leg tie, with both matches scheduled to take place at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State, giving the Super Falcons home advantage in both fixtures.
The two encounters are expected to be closely contested as both nations battle for a place in the next stage of the Olympic qualification process.
Nigeria will look to make the most of playing both legs on home soil as they seek a strong aggregate result against Comoros.
The Super Falcons have continued preparations for the qualification campaign as they target a return to the Olympic Games and aim to maintain their position among Africa’s leading women’s football teams.
