The Barea of Madagascar on Monday arrived in Uyo ahead of their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Prompt News Online reports.
The 28-man delegation, comprising players and officials, safely touched down at Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, at about 2:05 p.m.
The team proceeded to their hotel after completing immigration formalities at the airport, while additional members of the delegation are expected to arrive in Uyo on Tuesday.
Madagascar will face the Super Eagles in a Matchday 1 encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Friday.
Corentin Martins’ side will then host Tanzania’s Taifa Stars in their Matchday 2 fixture four days later.
