BBNaija S11: Nomy Disqualified For Repeatedly Defying Big Brother’s Instructions

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate Nomy has been disqualified from the ongoing 2026 season after repeatedly defying instructions from Big Brother.

The disqualification was announced shortly after Monday evening’s nomination process, when Biggie summoned the housemates to the lounge to address Nomy’s conduct.

Big Brother referred to her actions during the Head of House (HoH) games, where she recorded the poorest performance and was subsequently assigned to serve as this week’s bench warmer.

As part of the task, Nomy was expected to take her assigned bench and vest with her after leaving the arena. However, Biggie said she deliberately left the items behind despite being instructed to take them.

The authoritative voice reminded Nomy that she had been warned about disobeying house rules and instructions but had continued to disregard them.

Big Brother subsequently informed her that her right to continue participating in the reality show had been revoked. She was given 30 minutes to pack her belongings and leave the house.

Prompt News reports Nomy had previously received a strike in the second week of the show for a similar offence.

At the time, Big Brother described the sanction as her “last and final warning”, stressing that all rules, instructions and corresponding punishments must be strictly followed.

Her latest violation has now resulted in her immediate exit from the competition.

The 2026 BBNaija season premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for the grand prize.

This year’s winner is set to receive N160 million, the biggest prize in the history of the reality show since it debuted in 2006.
