Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo has expressed joy and gratitude as her son graduated from Concordia University of Edmonton in Canada.
The actress took to Instagram to share a video from the graduation ceremony, reflecting on the years of hard work, sacrifices and prayers that led to the milestone.
According to her, the achievement represents the fulfilment of a dream she nurtured while raising her son as a single mother.
“Years ago, it was just me, my prayers, my sacrifices, and a dream for my son.
Today, that dream is standing tall and graduating abroad.
Every late night, every bill paid alone, every tear I hid, every sacrifice I made was worth it. I may have walked this journey as a single mother, but God never left my side.”
