Media personality Daddy Freeze has reacted to 2Baba Idibia’s apology after the music star faced backlash over a comment he made about fidelity in relationships during a podcast appearance.
2Baba had admitted that “staying sexually committed to just one woman is difficult for most men,” a statement that sparked criticism and later prompted a public apology.

Addressing the issue during a live broadcast on Wednesday, Daddy Freeze expressed deep concern about 2Baba’s current state and reputation, revealing he has received some disturbing information.
“It seems to me there are people who are intentionally trying to detail any possibility of 2Baba going back to his legend status. I don’t know what has turned him into the but this is not the innocent Idibia that I know,” he said.
Daddy Freeze also shared a past experience where he, along with 2Baba’s family and close friends, waited for six hours to meet with the singer, but he never showed up.
He further disclosed that 2Baba’s elder brother had travelled from the United States to take over the singer’s management — a move he strongly resisted.
The broadcaster also revealed that he had an hour-long phone call with Olu Maintain, during which he came across sensitive details he said could not be disclosed publicly.
Concluding his remarks, Daddy Freeze stressed that the situation had gone beyond personal intervention. “Only prayer can solve 2Baba’s matter as it stands now. After this, I don’t know what to say again,” he added.
