Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has revealed he will be celebrating his birthday outside Nigeria for the first time this June.
According to a recent post by influencer and former singer Tunde Ednut, the actor is scheduled to attend a birthday celebration hosted by Macro Lady Boss in Cotonou on 13th of June.
The event, set to take place at Macro Lounge, will also serve as a double celebration for Michael’s own birthday.
Tunde Ednut, who recently marked his birthday across multiple countries, shared the event flyer, which lists several well-known DJs expected to entertain guests during the high-profile party.
While some fans welcomed the news, others expressed disappointment, particularly in light of recent allegations against the actor.
Actor Godwin Nnadiekwe accused Zubby Michael of assault, claiming the Nollywood star kicked him in the chest, resulting in internal injuries.
Nnadiekwe posted a video of the incident online and stated he covered the cost of his medical treatment himself.
In response, the Actors Guild of Nigeria has pledged to investigate the matter and pursue justice for Godwin.
The controversy has sparked backlash on social media, with followers questioning whether any disciplinary actions have been taken against Michael.
Some also warned attendees in Cotonou to remain cautious during the upcoming celebration.
