Afrobeats superstar Wizkid has achieved another major milestone after becoming the first African artiste to surpass 11 billion streams on Spotify across all credits.
The achievement was announced on Tuesday by music statistics platform Chart Africa through a post shared on X.
Confirming the record, the platform wrote, “Wizkid becomes the first African artist EVER to cross 11 Billion Spotify streams across all credits”.
The latest accomplishment comes shortly after the release of Wizkid’s new collaboration with DJ Tunez titled State of Mind.

The song, which was released on May 15, 2026, reportedly earned more than 685,000 streams globally on Spotify during its first full day on the platform.
Wizkid continues to rank among Africa’s most streamed artistes internationally, with several global hits and collaborations contributing to his growing streaming numbers.
