American singer and actress Tamar Braxton has spoken candidly about her disappointment with still being unmarried at 48, revealing that her life has not turned out the way she expected when it comes to love.
During a recent appearance on WBLS, the Love and War hitmaker said her single status is not for lack of desire to settle down but rather what she sees as a shortage of suitable partners.
“I am a wife material. I am not a streetwalker. I am upset that I am still single. What’s going on?” Braxton said, expressing her frustration.
She explained that finding the right partner has been challenging, as she believes many of the men she meets do not align with her standards or expectations.
“I think the only reason I am still single is because there is not the right guys. I accept only premium guys but I have been meeting only regulars lately. All I want is a good man. That’s my type,” she added.
Prompt News reports Braxton also reflected on how her bold and confident personality may have played a role in her dating experiences, admitting that some men could feel discouraged from approaching her.
