Morocco are sweating over the fitness of playmaker Fatima Tagnaout ahead of their final clash with Nigeria, Prompt News reports.
Tagnaout sustained an injury during Morocco’s semi-final clash with Black Queens of Ghana.
She was stretchered off the pitch in the second half of the game casting doubt over her availability for the clash with the Super Falcons.
There is no official update yet on her availability for the game.
The 28-year-old has been one of the standout performers for Morocco at the ongoing WAFCON 2024 finals.
Morocco are looking to win their first-ever WAFCON title after losing to the Banyana Banyana of South Africa three years ago.
The Super Falcons are targeting a record extending tenth title.
