VeryDarkMan Issues Stern Warning To EFCC Over His Seized Phone

Controversial social media activist Martin Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has revealed that his phone remains in the possession of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He also sent a firm warning to the agency, urging them not to interfere with his phone or release a photo taken during his time at their office.

“My phone is with the EFCC. In fact, I bought a new phone when I came out because I had a feeling they wouldn’t give me back mine. I’ve been trying to log into my iCloud, but I can’t access it anymore,” VeryDarkMan said.

He went on to add, “But that’s beside the point. EFCC, since we are looking to start a friendship, let me tell you what could ruin that relationship: you took a photo of me, and if you ever release that photo with any connection to ‘money laundering,’ we will have serious issues. If you release my picture and tag it with ‘money laundering,’ you’ll first have to prove that to Nigerians. And it could be the first public case where every detail will be shared online.”

He continued, “If you post it with ‘tax evasion,’ I don’t have a problem with that. But if you use ‘money laundering,’ that means two things: You must prove it to Nigerians, and it also suggests that every other person you’ve accused is actually innocent because I don’t launder money. I am not a fraudster.”

VeryDarkMan also voiced his criticism of GTBank, accusing them of misconduct and vowing to expose their actions at the right time.

“As for GTBank, I’m coming for you. I’ll tell everyone about what you did, and it’s insane. I saw the fake images and videos you posted, and I was left wondering what you people were trying to do. Did you think I would die in EFCC custody and never come out?” he claimed.

The social commentator further stated that he possesses evidence related to the events at the bank, which he believes is still on his phone with the EFCC.

“I have the evidence. The only thing that might save you (GTBank) is if the EFCC deletes the video, but I have it, and it’s on my phone. If they delete it, that’s also a problem for them,” he added.

VeryDarkMan concluded by urging the EFCC to avoid actions that could damage their credibility or lead to legal complications.

“To my future friends, if that photo comes out, we will be going to court. The difference is that you are the government, and you are powerful, but I will stress you. And it’s going to harm your image and your integrity,” he warned.

He emphasized, “It further shows that most of the things you post online about people are false. So let’s think carefully about this. I love you, EFCC. And I hope you love me too,” VeryDarkMan added.
