Social media commentator VeryDarkMan, widely known as VDM, has addressed allegations made by reality TV star Phyna, who recently referred to him as a “Very Dirty Boy” and accused him of contributing to the fallout between her and actress Iyabo Ojo.
Phyna had claimed that her association with VeryDarkMan played a major role in straining her relationship with Iyabo Ojo, an accusation the influencer has strongly denied.
In a lengthy public response, VeryDarkMan expressed disappointment over the claim, stressing that his involvement with Phyna was always sincere and never motivated by personal interest.
He explained that he supported the former reality show winner at various stages of her career, including promoting her movies on his platforms and offering advice on both personal and professional issues.
According to VDM, he remained accessible whenever Phyna reached out — whether for guidance, paid promotions, or assistance with family-related matters — adding that he often provided support without expecting anything in return.

He questioned what he stood to gain from the relationship, maintaining that his actions were based on loyalty and genuine concern rather than self-benefit.
Reflecting on how their relationship deteriorated, VeryDarkMan suggested that certain choices and what he described as greed eventually created distance, noting that several people who once publicly supported Phyna have since stepped back as attention around her declined.
Prompt News reports despite the dispute, VDM said he harbours no resentment toward Phyna and concluded by wishing her success and growth in her future endeavours.
