Popular online critic and activist VeryDarkMan is making headlines again after dropping a no-holds-barred diss track targeting key public figures in politics, entertainment, and religion.
Among those called out is Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, whose leaked WAEC certificate has been the subject of scrutiny.
In his lyrics, VeryDarkMan wasted no time in mocking the results, which allegedly showed underwhelming academic performance.

“E8, WAEC result of a governor. INEC, shame on you,” he rapped, questioning the integrity of the electoral body for clearing such a candidate.
The diss didn’t stop at politics. He also reignited tensions with controversial singer Portable, referencing a previous incident involving a keke (tricycle) that led to the singer being beaten and detained. The track appeared to mock the incident as part of their ongoing feud.
Clergyman Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin was not spared either. VeryDarkMan took direct jabs at his ministry, sarcastically referencing his so-called “healing water” and spiritual merchandise, while accusing him of preying on vulnerable believers.
The track has triggered a wave of responses across digital platforms, with supporters applauding his audacity, while critics argue he crossed ethical boundaries. Some described it as bold truth-telling; others labeled it as unnecessary provocation.
