Ebenezer Harcourt is upbeat the Flying Eagles will stroll over South Africa in their semi-final contest at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, Prompt News reports.
The Suez Canal Stadium, Ismailia will host the encounter between both countries on Thursday.
The Flying Eagles defeated holders Senegal 3-1 on penalties to get to this stage of the competition.
Harcourt stated that the players will do their best to win the trophy.
“We were talking about the ticket to the World Cup before the start of the competition, now we have that,” the Sporting Lagos told the team’s media officer, Shariff Abdallah.
“Now, the main target is the trophy. I’m very sure we will win the trophy. We will prepare well for the game against South Africa.
“It’s a good team we have here, the South Africans too are good, but we do our best to win the game.”
