Victor Osimhen set a new personal goals’ tally in a single season after firing a brace in Galatasaray’s 4-1 win over Sivasspor at the RAMS Park, Prompt News reports.
Osimhen scored Galatasaray’s second goal in the 15th minute.
The Nigeria international netted his second of the game in the 31st minute.
The 26-year-old now has 40 goal contributions for the Yellow and Reds this season (33 goals and seven assists.
He has also surpassed his previous best goal tally in season (31) which he recorded during Napoli’s title winning campaign two years ago.
Galatasaray are now eight points clear of bitter rivals Fenerbahce with six rounds of matches to the end of the season.
Okan Buruk’s side will also do battle with Trabzonspor in the final of the Turkish Cup later this month.
