Nigerian music star Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, has addressed growing concerns from fans over his recent dramatic weight loss.

The ‘Laho’ crooner sparked reactions after new photos showing a noticeably slimmer frame went viral on social media, with many speculating about his health.

However, the singer took to his verified X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday to clarify that his transformation was deliberate.

According to him, the weight loss is part of a personal decision to transition into the modelling world.

Shallipopi assured fans that there’s no cause for alarm, emphasizing that he’s intentionally shedding weight as he prepares to pursue a career in fashion modelling alongside his music journey.

His words, “Make una leave me make I slim jorr I wan start modelling.”
