Controversial street-pop artist Portable has refused to back down amid his ongoing clash with actress Laide Bakare, disregarding her recent warning to stop involving her in his outbursts.
The dispute began after Portable claimed in a video that Laide had invited him to perform at her event without any intention of paying him.
In response, the actress cautioned him to stop mentioning her name, stressing that she had no involvement in his controversies and warning him to steer clear of her personal affairs.

Despite her message, Portable continued his tirade in a new video, making provocative statements, including a shocking claim about wanting to sleep with the actress. He also alleged that he was aware of her current marital status.
He went on to accuse Laide of sparking the feud by making derogatory remarks about Nigerians who had migrated to Libya, insisting that her words were the reason he lashed out.
Portable’s tone shifted throughout the video—he initially addressed her as “Aunty Laide,” but quickly dropped the formality, questioning why he was even being respectful. He then challenged her publicly, suggesting she lacked the boldness to confront him physically.
Mocking her again over the alleged unpaid performance, Portable ridiculed her self-proclaimed celebrity status, saying it held little value if she couldn’t afford basic event costs. He also took jabs at her background, claiming her financial status was why he had no reason to stop dragging her.
