Controversial street pop singer Portable has alleged that he was tracked and nearly kidnapped during a recent visit to a First Bank branch.
The artist made the claim amid ongoing tensions involving fellow social media personality VeryDarkMan and Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB).
According to Portable, unidentified individuals attempted to abduct him at the bank.
He did not name the parties involved but suggested the incident occurred after he raised concerns about issues with his account.
“I only went there to complain.
They should listen to me. The customer is always right,” he said, expressing frustration over how the situation was handled.
The artist further claimed that his account, which he described as a business account containing over 400 billion naira, had been frozen without justification.
He denied any involvement in fraudulent activities and insisted his funds were legitimate.
As of the time of this report, neither First Bank nor law enforcement authorities have publicly addressed the alleged incident.
