French Ligue 1 outfit, OGC Nice have jumped to the front queue in the chase for Nigeria forward Terem Moffi, reports Prompt News.

The Eagles first offer for Moffi was rebuffed by their Ligue 1 rivals, Lille.

According to Ouest-France, Nice  have now submitted.a new bid worth €20m to Lorient.

They offered to pay €17m upfront and add-ons of €3m.

Premier League club, West Ham United are the other club with firm interest in Moffi.

The 23-year-old has scored 35 goals in 90 games since his arrival in Brittany two years ago for an €8m fee.

His contract with Lorient expires in 2024.
