Nigerian singer Niniola Apata has released the funeral arrangements for her late husband, Micheal Ndika, one week after his passing.
The Grammy-nominated artiste had earlier confirmed Ndika’s death on May 20 and later shared details of the burial programme via her Instagram page on Friday.
According to the arrangements, a service of songs will be held in his honour on the evening of June 4, while the funeral mass is scheduled for the morning of June 5.
Ndika was reportedly the Chief Executive Officer of NaijaReview, a multimedia platform dedicated to Afro-house and African music. However, the circumstances surrounding his death have not been disclosed.
Niniola, who is known for keeping her private life away from public scrutiny, has not made further public comments since announcing his passing.

Prompt News reports the 39-year-old singer gained prominence after finishing as second runner-up in the sixth season of Project Fame West Africa in 2013. She released her debut single Ibadi in 2014 and has since established herself as one of Nigeria’s top music artistes.
She has also received several nominations and awards, including a Most Promising Act to Watch nomination at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and Best Vocal Performance (Female) at The Headies.
