
By Olusegun Lawrence The National Publicity Secretary of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh, will remain in Kuje Prison until January 19.
Justice Aban Okon of a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Friday, ruled that Metuh should be remanded until January 19 when plea for his application will be heard.
The Judge however directed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to allow him access to his family and lawyers.
Metuh, was arraigned on a seven-count charge by the anti-graft agency over N400 million he allegedly collected from the $2.1 billion meant for arms purchase but disbursed for political purposes by former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd).
