Ademola Lookman will be awarded gold medal by the City of Bergamo as a mark of honour for his impressive performance in the UEFA Europa League final.
Lookman scored a historic hat-trick in Atalanta’s 3-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in Dublin last week.
It was the Serie A club’s first major title in 61 years and the first time they will be winning an European trophy.
The winger and his teammates will be awarded with Bergamo’s gold medal by the Mayor of the city, Giorgio Gori.
The official ceremony will take place on Friday, May 31, at Palazzo Frizzoni. READ ALSO:

Mayor Gori, who witnessed the historic victory in Dublin, explained, “Awarding the highest civic honour to Atalanta is a heartfelt decision, driven by our gratitude to a team that has filled us with pride.”
