Jerome Akor was the hero as Sevilla defeated Rayo Valecano 1-0 in their LaLiga game on Sunday.
It was Sevilla’s second away win of the season.
Akor rose from the bench to score the winning goal for the visitors three minutes from time.
It was the former Montpellier forward’s first goal of the season for the Rojiblancos.
The 24-year-old has made five league appearances for Sevilla this season.
His compatriot, Chidera Ejuke was an unused substitute in the game.
The duo recently returned to action for the former UEFA Europa League champions after battling with injuries.
