…Thanks Tinubu for giving due recognition to APC leader in Oyo State
KO Movement, an Oyo State-based political movement has congratulated the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) leader in the state, Alhaji Fatai Bayonle Ibikunle, on his appointment as a member of the Board of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).
Ibikunle, a former Chairman of the Governing Board of National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), was appointed onto the CCB Board by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday.
The Movement commended the President for appointing Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle into the exalted board of the CCB describing the position as befitting for the nationalistic, patriotic, reserved, people friendly and fair minded Ibikunle.
KO Movement, aka Ojo Ola Oyo, in the statement signed by its Director of Publicity, Mr. Adewale Adesope and made available to journalists in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Thursday, pronounced Ibikunle as a round peg who had been put in a round hole.
The group said Ibikunle’s appointment would help promote good governance in Nigeria and as well put the All Progressives Congress in good stead ahead of 2027.
“We, the entire K O Movement (Ojo Ola Oyo), extend our hearty congratulations to our leader, the leader of all the progressives and the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle on his appointment to the Board Of The Code Of Conduct Bureau.
“Alhaji Ibikunle is an exceptional leader who has been effectively coordinating the old and young progressives in the 33 local government areas of Oyo State for years and the entire APC in Oyo State.
His well-deserved appointment will enhance unity, good governance and accountability to move the party to Uhuru, come 2027. We commend and thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the special recognition accorded Alhaji Ibikunle with the appointment into the CCB board.
“We pray to Almighty Allah to continue to give him more strength,” the statement added.
