Nigerian singer Kcee has opened up about his family’s journey to success, revealing that his younger brother, E-Money, once served as his manager during the height of his music career.
Speaking in an interview with media personality Temisan, Kcee recalled how E-Money’s involvement in the entertainment industry eventually sparked his interest in business, laying the foundation for what would become a thriving empire.
According to the music star, he was already financially stable before E-Money hit it big. In fact, he disclosed that he contributed financially to E-Money’s wedding at the time.
However, Kcee noted that their financial statuses eventually shifted, with E-Money’s business ventures propelling him to greater wealth. He attributed the difference to the paths they each chose, hinting that his focus on music might have limited his earnings compared to what he could have made in the business world.
“He used to be my manager; I made money before him. When he was doing his wedding, I was part of the sponsor. Then he started making money and making more money,” Kcee said.
Reflecting further, he added, “The number of years I have put into music — if I had put it into a business, I would be ten times richer than I am.”
