Veteran Nollywood actress Joke Silva has celebrated her husband and legendary actor Olu Jacobs as he marks his 84th birthday today, July 12.
To honour the occasion, Silva shared an AI-generated video of the screen icon on her social media page, describing him as the “Lion of Lufudo” while expressing gratitude for another year of his life.
“Sincere gratitude for 84!! Sir J, the Lion of Lufudo. Happy birthday,” she wrote.
Prompt News reports the post attracted warm birthday messages from colleagues and admirers in the entertainment industry, who joined her in celebrating the veteran actor.
Actress Hilda Dokubo wrote, “Happiest birthday to our dearest uncle; may God continue to preserve him for us.”
Efe Irele commented, “Happy birthday, sir.”
