Nigerian music star Joeboy has been mocked by fellow artiste Adekunle Gold after losing a N3 million sports bet on Real Madrid.
Ahead of Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash between Real Madrid and Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, Joeboy took to X to reveal he had staked N3 million on a Madrid win. The potential payout was N10.3 million.
Confident in the Spanish side, Joeboy posted his bet slip along with the caption: “Cashing out on Arsenal tears tonight!”
But the gamble didn’t pay off, as Arsenal defeated Real Madrid 3-0, crushing his hopes of a big win.
Reacting to the loss, Adekunle Gold reposted Joeboy’s tweet and wrote: “Lmao. You don go blow stream money. Next time face your club.”
