Social media influencer Amadou Elizabeth, popularly called Jarvis, has opened up about the personal struggles she has been quietly dealing with, particularly her mother’s declining health and the pressure of online judgment.
In a heartfelt video posted on X, the TikToker revealed that her mother is seriously ill, noting that her biggest worry is how social media users might exploit her mother’s condition if it becomes widely known.
“So my mom is actually sick. What I’m saying is that online is crazy. Tomorrow they might video her in her condition and try to use it against me,” Jarvis said.
She explained that this fear has pushed her to guard her mother’s privacy, saying she does not want people to discover the situation and “come and speak against me on social media.”
Jarvis also addressed the criticism she expects from online users who may question her financial ability to care for her mother. She stressed that the illness has reached a stage where money is no longer the solution.
“Social media will always say, ‘Oh, why didn’t you take care of her? You have all the money, you have everything,’” she said, adding that “at this point, money can’t solve it. It’s just God, faith, belief.”

Speaking emotionally, the influencer praised her mother’s strength and sacrifices, recalling how she raised the family alone without support from their Senegalese father.
“I love my mom and she tried. She tried, like she really tried,” Jarvis said. “She fought, she defended us without any father’s support.”
She further shared details of her fractured relationship with her father, revealing that communication ended when she was still very young and that she has been trying to reconnect ever since.
“From the beginning of my birth, he used to call me Aminata and I just giggled… I was just a little child,” she recalled. “But it got to a point when the whole communication line stopped. Till today, I haven’t heard from him. I’m the one searching. I’ve gone to Senegal. I’m still trying my best.”
Prompt News reports Jarvis’ disclosure comes shortly after she confirmed the end of her relationship with fellow influencer and livestreamer Hamzat Habeeb, popularly known as Peller, following his car crash during a live broadcast.
