Nigerian content creator and streamer Peller has opened up about the financial support he received from his wife, Jarvis, during the early stages of their careers as TikTok creators.
Speaking during a conversation with Pastor Tobi, Peller recalled a period when he struggled to make money from his content while Jarvis was already receiving substantial gifts from viewers.
He said Jarvis was creating content from her village at the time and was getting significantly more financial support from TikTok viewers than he was.
According to Peller, Jarvis would sometimes set aside part of her earnings and give it to him after noticing that he was receiving little or no gifts during their sessions.
“This girl could make about $3,000 from TikTok at that time. She would take about $1,000 from what she made and give it to me because she noticed that people weren’t gifting me.”
Prompt News reports Peller said the gesture was particularly meaningful because he had little money during that period. He added that Jarvis continued to support him despite not having romantic feelings for him at the time.
He also attributed the difference in the gifts they received partly to the tendency of viewers to send more gifts to female content creators, leaving Jarvis with a larger share of the earnings during their joint sessions.

Reflecting on her generosity, Peller said: “But she would still give me some of what she received. She supported me even though, at that time, she didn’t want to date me.”
The revelation offers a glimpse into the early days of Peller and Jarvis’ relationship, highlighting the financial and personal support she provided before their friendship eventually developed into a romantic relationship.
