Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has firmly dismissed allegations linking her to claims that she supplied aphrodisiacs ‘Kayamata’ to her goddaughter, to influence her relationships.
The claims, which surfaced on anonymous blog Gistlover, accused the actress of introducing Fola to kayamata and also published a list of celebrities and men the blogger alleged she was romantically involved with.
Reacting via her Instagram story, Iyabo described the accusations as false and baseless. She stressed that her goddaughter is an adult who makes her own choices and that she neither interferes in nor discusses her love life.
According to the actress, she does not use kayamata and therefore cannot recommend or give it to anyone. She further clarified that her connection with Fola was strictly that of a godmother who offered support, especially during business and legal challenges.
“First and foremost, Fola Tinubu is an adult. I’m not one to monitor or ask questions about anyone’s life. Gistlover saying I gave Fola any form of Kayamata is a lie from the pit of hell. I have never once asked or discussed anything pertaining to her relationship with her. I don’t know who she is dating, and I never asked her; nothing concerns me, nor have I ever given her anything for s*xual or relationship purposes. I myself don’t use Kayamata, so how will I give what I don’t have? I don’t patronise such,” she wrote.

Iyabo also addressed misconceptions about their relationship, stating that Fola was never her friend but someone she mentored and supported.
“Fola is not my friend; she was a lady I helped who later became a goddaughter. I don’t discuss intimate matters with goddaughters; I’m a very strict and busy person. I helped her in so many ways with her business and legal battles. Now, to the glory of God, she is doing well for herself; that was my goal with her, nothing more, nothing less,” she added.
The actress concluded by invoking divine judgment, declaring, “If what you have rewritten is true about me, may God destroy me and all that I stand for. But if it’s all lies about me, may God punish whoever is sending you those lies. The Return of Arinzo is coming soon.”
Prompt News reports her response has since sparked reactions across social media, with many fans rallying in her defence.
