Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has addressed ongoing attacks from fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin targeting her family, particularly her grandson.
On her Instagram page, Iyabo admitted that remaining calm has been a challenge, but she is choosing to ignore distractions, emphasizing that “those whom God has blessed, no one can curse.”
She assured her followers that her legal team is actively monitoring the situation. “For clarity, I want to assure you all that my legal team isn’t sleeping. They’re taking notes of everything. A wise one must always listen to the counsel of the learned team. Everything has its timing,” she wrote.
The mother of two explained that she has been prioritizing family matters over public disputes. Over the past few months, she has focused on welcoming her grandson, supporting her daughter through motherhood, and providing guidance both physically and spiritually.
“My people, over the past few months, it has been strictly about focusing on family while my legal team takes note and prepares me for the battles ahead. Welcoming my grandson, supporting my daughter through her motherhood journey, and standing in the gap, both physically and spiritually, required my undivided attention,” she stated.

Iyabo added that once she returns to Lagos, she will address the issues at hand. “Note that once I land in Lagos, God willing, yes, it will be time to tackle challenges. Silence can be powerful, and while it’s not always easy for me, I know it’s sometimes necessary,” she said.
Earlier in her post, she also shared lighter moments to her fans, writing: “Honestly, I haven’t laughed this hard in a while. These videos cracked me up real good.”
Iyabo concluded by thanking her supporters for their concern and patience. “I love you all and appreciate your genuine concerns. Keep being your wonderful selves, and I’ll keep you all updated when the time is right. God bless,” she added.
