Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has stirred conversations online after openly admiring the vocal abilities of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
Taking to his X handle on Sunday, the hip-hop star suggested that Wike could have had a successful music career if he had ventured into it.

“I wish say Wike dey do music. I hear something in his vocals. I’m not joking,” he wrote.
Wike, who served as Governor of Rivers State from 2015 to 2023, became known for his affinity for live music, often featuring a band at public functions. Since his appointment as FCT Minister, he has continued the tradition, even relocating the same band to Abuja.
Just last month, the minister made headlines when he announced salary increments for the band members during the commissioning of the collector road from Mabushi to the Judges’ Quarters in Katampe.
The band, which has become a staple at Wike’s events, is behind viral chants like ‘As E Dey Sweet Us’, ‘Agreement Is Agreement’, and ‘Biggie Man’.
