Nigerian singer Kcee has opened up about his former romance with popular Nollywood actress Ebube Nwagbo, revealing that their relationship was once the centre of public attention.
Speaking during a recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, hosted by Temisan Emmanuel and shared on X on Saturday, Kcee disclosed that they were on the verge of getting married before things fell apart.
In his words, “My scandals were before social media became rampant. I was just about young boy dating one actress. Me and actresses were always headlining the papers. I love actresses back then. Who wouldn’t?
“I can’t name all the actresses I have dated but I will mention that our relationship was everywhere; Ebube Nwagbo. Our relationship was always on the front covers of newspapers. And we usually sit on the front row of every red carpet show.
“We were close to getting married. Whatever that happened, happened.”
Kcee, who got married to his wife Ijeoma in 2010, is now a father of two.
Ebube Nwagbo, on the other hand, remains unmarried. Over the years, the actress has been linked to various public figures, with speculation surrounding her alleged relationships with Ogbonna Nwankwo, footballer Emmanuel Emenike, and actor Ray Emordi.
