Nigerian skit creator Oluwadolarz has recounted a traumatic experience from his childhood, revealing that he was allegedly sexually abused for a year by a female neighbour when he was just six years old.
In a viral video, the content creator shared the details of the abuse, which occurred while he was living with his grandmother. He openly named the woman, expressing anger and frustration at the ordeal.
“First of all, Aunty Ramota it shall not be well with you. When I was five, six year old, when I was leaving with my grandmother because my mom was into a nursing school then,” he said.
He described how the abuse became a regular occurrence whenever he returned home from school.
“So whenever I come back from school, Ramota is always at home. Whenever I come back, she would take me to the backyard of our house and do all sort.
“From licking to… it is crazy. When I started growing, I realised that what happened to me then was not normal.”
Oluwadolarz said he was too young to understand what was happening and felt trapped because his grandmother was often away. The abuse, he explained, continued weekly for an entire year until the neighbour and her family relocated.
“I was young, I didn’t understand what was going on to the extent that whenever I come back from school, I already knew what I was expecting and I was too young,” he said.
“I didn’t know if I should talk to someone and then it is not as if grandma is always at home she is always going to the market. She comes back late.
“… I don’t know if I penetrated or anything because I was just there while she played with my little stuff. She would open herself for me to lick for a year straight before she moved,” he added.
The skit maker explained that the primary reason for sharing his story is to warn parents and guardians about the importance of protecting their children.
