Veteran Fuji singer, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, has revealed being a devoted member of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), adding that he single handedly built a Parish.
Wasiu Ayinde, thought to be a Muslim, described himself as a “bona fide member” of the white-garment church in an interview on the Agbaletu podcast on Wednesday.
According to him, the search for a relationship with God led him to join the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC).
The 68-year-old Fuji star recalled that during difficult times, he sought divine intervention and explored various avenues to connect with God.
His words, “I attend Celestial church. I am a bonafide member of the celestial church. A proud one. In fact, I built a church.
“I sought different religions while trying to know God in both popular religions. There’s nowhere I didn’t try to find God.
“In times of trouble, I sought religion and I also sought the face of God in two different ways. There is no place I did not search for the face of God.”
Prompt News recalls that K1 De Ultimate, recently had altercation with some Islamic clerics during Fidau prayer for his late mother leading to the coinage of the Yoruba word ‘ganusi’, which drew criticisms from many Muslims.
