Nigerian street-pop singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has revealed that fellow musician Terry G is the next celebrity he wants to face in the boxing ring after his upcoming rematch with actor Charles Okocha.

Speaking during an interview on Rubbin’ Minds aired on Channels Television on Sunday, the controversial singer dismissed suggestions that he was interested in fighting social media personality VeryDarkMan, insisting that Terry G was his preferred opponent.

When asked whether he wanted to fight VeryDarkMan, Portable responded, “Terry G.

“I want to fight Terry G.”

Explaining why he picked the singer, Portable claimed the bout would help restore Terry G’s popularity.

“If Terry G fights me one-on-one in boxing, I swear to God he will rise again. People will remind him again,” he said.

Asked if he believed the fight would revive Terry G’s career, Portable replied, “Yeah! I just train. I want to blow him.”

The Zazuu crooner also disclosed that he plans to embark on an international music tour after his July 31, 2026, boxing clash with Charles Okocha.

“After I fight and I beat Charles Okocha, I’m going to London. If I come back from London, I want to fight Terry G,” he said, adding that his 2026 tour would also include the United States, Russia, Malaysia, Dubai and South Africa.

Prompt News reports Portable also boasted about his influence on celebrity boxing in Nigeria, claiming he has elevated the sport’s profile through his popularity.

“I want to face my career. I don try for Nigeria. I use my own music career, I use am build boxing, Nigeria boxing. I use am rise am.

“Which boxer fit come out say he collect money pass me for this Nigeria? You dey collect reach ₦100 million. How many belts do you have? How many rounds did you fight? How much did you collect?” he said.

The singer further claimed he had already received ₦50 million ahead of the rematch with Okocha and that the total prize money for the contest stands at ₦150 million.

“I don collect ₦50 million. We are fighting for ₦150 million,” he said.

Expressing confidence ahead of the bout, Portable insisted he would emerge victorious.

“Don’t worry, not if I win. I’m winning this match,” he said.

He added, “I’m the face of boxing in Nigeria 2026.”

Portable also reaffirmed his support for President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying, “I’m supporting Tinubu!”

The rematch with Charles Okocha was triggered after the actor activated the rematch clause following Portable’s unanimous decision victory in their first encounter.

Since venturing into celebrity boxing, Portable has recorded wins over Speed Darlington and Kizz Daniel’s bodyguard, Kelvin Atobiloye, popularly known as Kelvin Power. However, he suffered his first defeat in May 2026 when content creator Carter Efe beat him by unanimous decision at the Chaos in the Ring event.
