Manchester City blew the Premier League title race wide open by beating Arsenal 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
Pep Guardiola’s side move within three points of long-time leaders Arsenal following the win.
The Citizens also hold a game advantage with which to close that gap.
City will have the chance to overtake Arsenal by beating next-to-last Burnley on Wednesday.
Rayan Cherki gave the hosts the lead in the 16th minute.
Germany international Kai Havertz restored parity for Arsenal two minutes later.
Erling Haaland fired home the winning goal for City in the 68th minute.
