Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Tunez, has revealed that trying to build a friendship between Wizkid and Davido has been the hardest part of his career so far.
He made the statement during a recent livestream on X while responding to questions about his journey in the music industry.
“My biggest challenge? Making Wizkid and Davido to love each other, that’s my biggest challenge,”
he said.

According to him, he has made several efforts behind the scenes to mend the relationship between the two Afrobeats stars, but it’s been far from easy.
Wizkid and Davido have had a long-running history of tension, with moments of public conflict and occasional silence. In October 2024, their differences boiled over once again, as both artists exchanged sharp words on social media, reigniting talk of their rivalry.
Figures in the music industry, including singer Iyanya and Davido’s associate Asa Asika, have since urged both parties to put their issues aside.
They believe a reconciliation between the two would go a long way in strengthening the Afrobeats movement and inspiring more collaboration within the genre.
