            By Andrew Abah, Abuja

Newly appointed head Coach of Nigeria’s Under 20 national team Ladan Bosso, has said the experience of last qualifier where his wards were eliminated in the qualifying round will never occur again as he is determined to get to the  group stage of the competition.

Speaking to Promptnewsonline on his appointment,  he said being a product of local league, emphasis will be given to our league players while foreign players will be considered at a later date where necessary.

“You know this is WAFU zonal competition before the CAF U20 that will qualify nations for FIFA World Cup. West Africa is always tough especially with Benin, Ghana ,Togo and Niger.

“We must pick the best for this competition though the camping is too sudden but we must do our best to get the best for our country. It’s is about Nigeria and not individual.

“Continuing, Bosso said missing out of the FIFA 2022 world cup in Qatar was very painful and Nigerians have not forgotten so qualifying for the U20 FIFA World is a task that must be accomplished”.

The former Tornadoes and Abia Warriors head coach said the exit of Nigeria’s super eagles from Qatar world cup party is very painful.  No country should be under rated. “Frankly, I fill pained for almost a week but God knows the best.”
