Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has shared heartfelt words of motivation for plus-sized women while reflecting on her personal weight-loss journey.
Posting her before-and-after photos on social media, the actress stressed that body size is not the real issue, but rather self-doubt and lack of self-love.
According to her, a person’s worth is never defined by their appearance, adding that confidence, success, love, admiration, and strength are achievable at any size.
She revealed that her transformation taught her a key lesson — meaningful change begins from the mind and is built through consistent effort, not overnight miracles.
She encouraged those on similar journeys to be kind to themselves, emphasising that confidence is a mindset, not a number on the scale.

“I need you to hear this from me….being ‘fat’ is not the problem. Hating yourself is. Doubting yourself is believing you’re not enough. That’s the real struggle.
“Your size has never cancelled your worth. You can be confident, successful, loved, admired, and unstoppable at any size. And if you choose to lose weight, let it be from a place of love….not shame. Let it be because you want to feel healthier, stronger, and happier… not because the world told you to shrink.
“My weight-loss journey has taught me one powerful lesson: transformation starts in the mind. I didn’t wake up one day different….I made small, consistent decisions. And guess what? You can too. If I can do it, you can absolutely do it.
“But listen carefully….even before the weight changes, you must love the body you’re in right now. Respect it. Thank it. Celebrate it. This body has carried you through so much. Don’t insult it.
“If you’re on a journey, be patient with yourself. If you’re not, still walk boldly. Confidence is not a size; it’s an attitude.
“And to everyone who has supported and celebrated my journey so far… I see you. I appreciate you. Your love means everything to me. Thank you for growing with me.
“Let’s keep becoming better….not because we hate who we are, but because we love ourselves enough to evolve.”
Prompt News reports her message has since sparked positive reactions, with many fans applauding her honesty, courage, and encouragement.
