Nollywood actress and reality TV star Venita Akpofure has revealed that she continues to attract romantic interest despite being 39 years old.
Speaking during a recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, Akpofure attributed her appeal in the dating scene to her youthful appearance, saying people often mistake her for someone much younger.
Prompt News reports the mother of two disclosed that the majority of men who approach her are younger, adding that they appear more confident than older men when it comes to expressing their interest.
“I am 39, but if I told you I was 28, you would believe me. I only get approached by younger men. They are more courageous than the older ones.
“What they don’t have in their bank accounts, they make up for with bravery and audacity,” she said.

Akpofure, who is divorced, has two children and has previously been linked romantically with younger men.
She was also involved with fellow reality TV star Adekunle during their time on Big Brother Naija All Stars. However, their relationship reportedly ended shortly after the reality show concluded.
