By Paul Efiong                The National Contractors Association of Nigeria (NACOAN) has called on the new Minister of Power, Works & Housing, Babatunde Fashola to mitigate incidences of failed projects due to non-compliance with contractual terms by both government clients and contractors.

The President of the Association, Onuche Okoh, in a statement a further noted that the former Lagos State Governor whom he described as a “Scion of Development” is expected to bring his wealth of experience to bear in the logical and prudent execution of projects through prompt payment of contractors.

The association further enjoined its members to imbibe the spirit of integrity, quality job execution as part of their support for the corrupt-unfriendly administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The group also commended President Buhari for what it calls “appointment of square pegs in square holes, round pegs in round holes as “we believe the appointed Ministers having the credentials, cognate experience and track records of integrity-would deliver on President Muhammadu Buhari’s agenda for an accelerated development of the nation through corrupt-free political leadership of the country”
