Nigerian stars Tolu Arokodare and Raphael Onyedika are in the running for the Ebony Shoe award, Prompt News reports.
The prestigious award is designed for African players and players of African origin plying their trade in the Belgian Pro League.
The two players will battle Nigerian-born Canada international Promise David, who plays for Union Saint-Gillloise, Congo International Noah Sadki and Morocco winger Zakaria El Ouahdi for the individual accolade.
Arokodare has registered 20 goals and five assists in 35 league appearances for Thorsten Fink’s side.
Onyedika has racked up two goals and two assists in 47 appearances across all competitions for holders Brugge in the current campaign.
Paul Onuachu was the last Nigerian to win the award.
The awards ceremony will be staged in Brussels on Monday ,May 12.
