Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has been admitted to the hospital after experiencing a frightening health episode that left her temporarily unable to feel parts of her body.

Sharing her ordeal on Instagram, the Asaba-based actress disclosed that she woke up feeling weak and numb, a moment that made her fear she had lost all strength. Despite her condition, she pushed herself to attend to work responsibilities at her business premises, where she eventually collapsed.

According to Sarah, the incident was the result of prolonged exhaustion caused by months of nonstop work without rest.

“Woke up today and couldn’t feel any part of my body.
For a second, I felt lifeless,” she wrote.

She explained that even while unwell, she insisted on carrying out inventory checks and conducting interviews for prospective staff before her body finally gave in.

“I still struggled and went to my stores to do inventory and a few interviews for incoming employees, and that was when I slumped,” she added.

The actress revealed that she underwent extensive medical examinations, noting that over 32 tests were conducted, all of which returned negative results.

“I did over 32 tests today, and all came out negative, including cancer, fibroid, liver, kidney, malaria, typhoid, etc.,” she said.

Reflecting on her demanding schedule, Sarah admitted she had neglected her health while focusing on work and caring for others.

“All through December, I worked every single day… No days off, no stretches, no nothing… just a walking corps working tirelessly to cater for others, forgetting myself,” she wrote.

From her hospital bed, the actress expressed gratitude to God for sparing her life and protecting her health, while doctors advised her to take complete rest.

“They said I’m extremely exhausted and need proper bed rest… Thank you, Heavenly Father, for your constant protection over my life,” she concluded.

Prompt News reports Sarah reassured fans that she is on the path to recovery and remains hopeful she will bounce back stronger.
