An Abuja High Court has slated November 26 for the commencement of hearing in the assault and battery case filed against Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck.
The lawsuit was initiated by Levi Ogbogiri, popularly known as Kraziecent, who alleged that the rapper “violently assaulted and battered” him during a public event on December 16, 2024.
Kraziecent claimed he was “peacefully taking pictures and videos” when Odumodublvck allegedly attacked him without provocation. He added that the incident caused “assault, battery, and emotional distress,” as well as damage to his iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Justice J.O.E. Adeyemi-Ajayi fixed the new date after the plaintiff’s lawyer, Uchenna Ojembe, told the court that the defendant had been served with all relevant documents but had yet to file a response.
“The hearing may not commence today because the defendant’s counsel, Sheriff Bello, has not responded. We, however, pray the court for a date,” Ojembe stated.
Responding, Bello—who represents Odumodublvck—requested an adjournment, saying he needed additional time to prepare adequately for the matter and to “put my house in order.”

In the suit, Kraziecent is seeking compensation for his “damaged iPhone, public humiliation, and reputational harm.” He also wants a public apology from Odumodublvck, to be published on the rapper’s social media pages and in at least two national newspapers. Additionally, he is asking the court to issue a perpetual injunction restraining the rapper from further harassment or harm.
The incident has sparked widespread reaction on social media, with many users condemning Odumodublvck’s alleged actions and demanding accountability.
