DJ Neptune has reunited with singer Joeboy for a new single titled Okpeke (Dance for Me), six years after the success of their hit collaboration Nobody. The track also features rapper Odumodublvck.
The song, released under Neptune Records, Greatness Republic and Doki Music, marks the trio’s latest collaboration and follows DJ Neptune’s announcement earlier this week, which sparked excitement among music fans.
Running for two minutes and 25 seconds, Okpeke combines upbeat production with the distinct styles of the three artistes. DJ Neptune provides the energetic instrumental, Joeboy delivers the catchy hook and chorus, while Odumodublvck adds his signature fast-paced rap verse.
The record centres on romance, with the artistes expressing admiration for a love interest while encouraging her to dance over its vibrant, club-inspired sound.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the title, DJ Neptune explained that Okpeke is a term used to describe a woman in different relationship contexts.
